Over-Watered
A character inspired by my real-life inability to keep even the lowest maintenance of plants alive. I noticed my cactus had a second, smaller growth on it’s end, but slumping to one side as if it had lost all hope.
Contemporary Still Life
I wanted to distort the original objective of a still-life - to accurately represent form, scale, and light. I employed a cell shaded lighting technique to portray the usual elements of a still-life, manipulated with impossible scale and relation to the others.

Base model made in Blender, Zbrushed for detail pass, retopo, procedural textures, lighting, compositing, and additional sculpting done in Blender. Color-graded in Lightroom.
Tree-Root Pots
Both a modelling exercise, as well as a practical attempt to prototype and 3D print a functional design. The final pot designs were successfully printed and housed real cacti.
